This movie is full of potholes. Why was Ozymandias powerful enough to to beat up Rorsarch and Night Owl and kill the comedian when his power is being super smart? Why was Rorsarch obssesed with his "face"? Why didn't manhattan foresee that Ozymandia's was going to use the nukes to blame him before he built them and the molecules impeded him from seeing the future?

It didn't show if the journal would really believe in the notes, also THE POINT of watchmen is that no plan is perfect, everyone got flaws and there is no "good" or "evil" choice

Dr. Manhattan is more or less a constant power that is above everything, so people would life in peace but also fear that something could happen, till time goes on to the point where they forget and leave the fear behind and the conflicts would start again. But this was a momentary solution anyway to stop the inevitable nuclear war that was about to happen, so Ozy could work out new solutions and at worse remind humanity again of the constant threat that is Dr. Manhattan.

The movie sucks. Graphic novel deals with all that. Tachyons inhibit Manhttan from seeing future, but even though he can see future, he can't change anything. The universe is deterministic to him, he can only pereceive time non-linearly.
Also Rorschach's "face" is his identity, just like Batman isn't Bruce Wayne in his mind, he's batman. He's a rip off of the question, so same idea in that his face is his identity.
