anybody here looking forward to this?
>Directed by J.A. Bayona
>Chris Pratt as Owen Grady
>Bryce Dallas Howard as Claire Dearing
>Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm
>B. D. Wong as Dr. Henry Wu
>James Cromwell as Benjamin Lockwood, who was John Hammond's partner in developing the technology to clone dinosaurs
>>84576871
>Jeff Goldblum as Dr. Ian Malcolm
wait. how? he was eaten by the t rex in the pourda poddy in the first one
>>84576948
u wot?
>>84576948
nice bait there bro
Goldblum was the best thing about the whole franchise, so reasonably
>>84576948
that wasnt him you stupid ass fuck
More BDH with that haircut is always welcome
>>84576871
They better take this to next level where dinosaurs take over the world.
>>84577025
she won't have that hair style in JW2
JW took a big ol shit on the franchise, but if the Goldblum is back with significant screentime, I'll be there opening weekend.
I have a rule that's saved me a lot of money.
If the number of bad films in a franchise is equal to or greater than the number of good films, drop it.
I won't be seeing it anytime soon and certainly will not pay for it.
>>84577025
it's a bobcut
>>84577092
LameAs long as there are some nice shots of her ass and hips, I think I'll be fine
>>84577092
REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
>>84577797
plus we get based Cromwell
>>84577797
How did it take a shit on a franchise that was already shit as a franchise?
JP > JW > JPII > JPIII
I plan to see it because at the very least it will be FUN just might have to turn my brain off to enjoy it but it will be ok because dinosaurs are cool
I like watching people get eaten by dinosaurs but they kind of fucked up with Jurassic World. Lost World is my favorite Jurassic Park because of how many people get ate and they need to pull their head out of their ass and do it right for Jurassic World 2.
>>84577996
>watching movies to think in the first place
>not as an excuse to delay responsibilities and ignoring the creeping fear of death
>>84578075
t. vore fetishist
>>84577982
this bait.... LMAO
>>84578132
How's it bait?
2 and 3 were genuinely awful. Lost World didn't even pretend to follow the source material. A fucking T-Rex loose on the city?
>>84578178
not him but 2 was objectively right behind the first one, JW is 3rd
>>84576871
>J.A. Bayona
wow they actually got a good director. Im quite interested now
>>84578205
>objectively
What did he mean by this?
>>84577982
Jurassic World
>clusterfuck of a script
>over reliance on CGI (everything looks fake)
>Pratt was miscast
>that retarded motorcycle through the jungle with pet raptors scene
Lost World was a great popcorn flick if you eliminate the San Diego sequence. JP3 is better than people give credit to. Its only big fault is the abrupt ending.
>>84578178
The hate Lost World got and still gets is ridiculous. It is very different from the first one in very great ways. Practical effects are still on point too - all the dinosaurs look great. Great cast and characters I cared about and upped the stakes appropriately. Jurassic World is a hot mess of CGI with no memorable characters and no discernible plot other than "big monster dino escaped".
>>84578267
You look fake.
>>84578205
JP is a classic, all three of its sequels are just action flicks with no real order
>>84578205
not him but 3 was objectively right behind the second one, JW is 4th
>>84578225
ob·jec·tive·ly
əbˈjektivlē,äbˈjektivlē/
adverb
in a way that is not influenced by personal feelings or opinions.
"events should be reported objectively"
synonyms: impartially, without bias, without prejudice, evenhandedly, dispassionately, detachedly, equitably, fairly, justly, open-mindedly, with an open mind
>JP2 is objectively better than JW
>>84578283
All of the movies hinge on uncontained dinosaurs, really. That's what people want to see.
I hope we will see real dino
>>84578320
Really making me think.
>>84578348
wasnt there a recent article that speculated just as much evidence T-Rex didn't have any feathers?
>>84578348
And here we go.
>>84578283
The bullshit that is Jurassic World made me appreciate Lost World. Really underrated. I just wish they cut the San Diego sequence.
>>84578379
>>84578384
t.jews
Real dinos have feathers
>>84576948
that was the JEW lawyer
iain malcom died after a t-rex picked him up in its jaws, grinded him hard and slammed him to the ground. he was feeling better in lost world though.
>>84578379
The babies/juveniles probably had downy feathers. And that skin imprint could easily have come from areas where the T-Rex would logically lack any feathers.
>>84578418
I'm actually not disagreeing, just pointing out how this thread can only go downhill from here.
>>84578418
alot of it is speculation. theres even some scientists who believe the feathers were illuminious
>>84578348
It doesn't fucking matter. It can just be explained that they were bioengineered without feathers because that's what the park guests expect to see.
>>84576871
I have more faith in this one because Bayona isn't a complete fucking hack like Trevorrow.
>>84578498
All of science is speculation.
>>84578519
That's literally what was said in Jurassic World by Dr Wong. Kind of a clever workaround, really.
>>84576871
Christ pratt and bdh both are terrible actors and bdh can't even act so no. Fuck this shit and anyone who likes it.
>>84576871
>pg-13 dinosaurs movie
no thanks. one movie was enough.
>>84578283
Lost world only is worth it for the dinosaurs and effects, the characters and story were ass, save for Roland
>>84578923
Based Postlethwaite. That movie would be a classic if his character had more screentime.
>>84578283
Lost World is great up until San Diego.
We can shut it down boys, I have the correct ranking here.
LW > JP > III > World
Lost World is cynical and weird, great effects, and great characters (save for the gymnast scene and the girl in general). JP is classic 90s fun. III is a tight 90 minute action movie with some comfy Sam Neil. World is Saturday morning cartoon schlock that fails to deliver on the promise of "shit going down" in a fully operational park (it only lives up to that premise in one scene, the Pterodactyl scene, which is bogged down by an oddly fetishistic death scene).
>>84579068
>LW > JP
fuck off
>>84578874
You do realize that all Jurassic Park movies are PG-13?
>>84576871
as long as that hack treverorow doesnt go near the script
>>84578923
>"are you trying to open up a base camp or a buffet?!"
>>84579102
yes and one kiddie movie about dinosaurs in the park is enough. we don't need even a second movie about that. yet we got four seqels, and another one is in the works
what we need, is an r-rated turok flick. Or they don't even need to buy the rights for this, just make an r-rated film where the gore is spilled.
who the fuck is going to watch this after the pile of dogshit that was jurassic world. literally couldn't even bring myself to finish it.
the characters were either written to be extremely boring and generic or poorly acted (or both), the cgi was a mess, and i realized about half an hour in i didn't give a shit. it couldn't have been a more different experience for the worse than when i first saw jurassic park.
>>84576948
Protip: Malcom died in the first novel but was resurrected in the second because he was Crichton's favourite character and was too lazo to create a new protagonist.
>>84579911
Millions of people will watch it, anon. Do you want us to write down their names?
>>84579068
That fetishistic death scene is the only part I remember other than the ridiculous motorcycle scene.
