I liked season 1 maybe season 2. Then it killed all mystery and just started making shit up as they went because of the ratings

Season 1 - Great
Season 2 - Peak
Season 3 - oh no the gimmicks are starting but still very good
Season 4 - very good stuff
Season 5 - for fucks sake
Season 6 - thank fuck it finished

Characters were decent, but that was overshadowed by the stupid as fuck pointless mysteries that they clearly made up as they went along. It was all such fucking horseshit. The last season was the biggest trainwreck I've ever seen.

Am i the only one who hated how "meta" this show got? The hack writers constantly referencing fan theories and nitpicks was obnoxious.

We get it, you read the fucking forums all the time, just write the story as you want to like professionals should.

first 3 seasons are good. the last 3 seasons are the writers trying to write their way out of the corner they wrote themselves in, but instead of figuring out how to get out of the corner they took a sledgehammer to the wall behind them and then pissed all over the place
