I love "lite" documentaries, where they're educational but also comedic, Oz & James' Big Wine Adventure and Oz & James Drink to Britain for example, or Top Gear to a lesser extent.

This is looking like a Brit thread, does anyone remember a documentary they used to show on discovery about 15 years ago that was about people with dirty jobs, like sewer cleaners and exterminators? The US show with that name is making it hard to find.

Any of the Handmade series are great (Japan is up in iplayer now), it's basically ASMR.

I like watching archeology programs late at night for some reason, like Digging for Britain or Jago Cooper docs. Horizon is usually pretty comfy too.
