What does /tv/ think of this guy?

He had some jaw-dropping opinions

I don't hate him, but I never understood people's worship of the guy.

One of the greats, bridged popular culture/sensibility with actual cinema knowledge.

I really liked his earlier work but by the end it was almost as if he couldn't say anything about the movies he reviewed.
