I'm enjoying the show but you have to admit its quite hammy and frequently ridiculous.

Killing lem was so fucking obvious. He's enough a character to "matter" (imagine if they killed ronnie lel no one would even remember)
At the same time it was obvious because they've been beating you over the head with Lem as the dindunuffin since fucking s4.

Also the way they make the villains so cartoonish. They're always pure evil. I was thinking Whitaker would finally be the exception but then he made the deal with antwon (<- cringey fucking character) and now he's straight planting evidence.

Also the side character acting is frequently shite. Look no further than emolia.

Personally so far I wish the show was more like s1-2 than what its become. The never ending "Strike team on the coverup/run" is old as hell and I always liked the Wagenbach/Wyms stories better anyway because we didn't have to listen to vic's actor hamming it up every scene.
