I really liked her performance. I've never really seen her as a serious actor as she only really takes comedy roles but in this she really does a great job. Ruth could very well be totally insufferable but brie plays it with honesty and vulnerability. She has great chemistry with the rest of the cast, especially marc maron and it makes for a really good performance.
