The Poles fought for a month, which was twice as long as France and the British, against both the Germans the Soviets, with no allies and while outnumbered in every conceivable category, then continued to fight for the rest of the war, only to be sold out to the Soviets (who took half the country and killed another 100K+ Poles) by crippled fuck FDR.

Meanwhile on the home front, the Polish resistance was killing 800-1000 Germans per month, right in the heart of the Nazi empire and did so with less than 100 tons of supplies dropped by the allies (the Geeks got 10,000 tons) and suffering brutal retaliations the whole time (more Poles were killed in the two months of the Warsaw Uprising then the U.S. total looses in the entire war).

And when the war was over, the Poles were banned from the victory parades so as not to piss off Stalin…

Might not kill the knight, but will almost certainly kill the horse. The French used heavy barding on their forlorn hope at Poitiers and the English repositioned and shot into their flanks to kill the horses.

Once the knights/men-at-arms are footslogging, they're vulnerable to a unlucky hit penetrating less protected limbs or gaps in the armour, and with the sheer number of arrows striking them, one is going to be a unlucky hit eventually.

Might also be hard to encourage men to plod slowly directly into a storm of arrows, knowing that every step gives the arrows more power, a flatter trajectory and brings you closer to the archers being able to target specific weak points, particularly if your less well armoured comrades, who are supposed to protect you from capture, are starting to fall.
