Alien, Predator, Terminator, all 3 franchises and their spin-offs should be scrapped. The original movies were based on mystery and surprise, traits you can't recapture when you know exactly what the monster is and what it can do. Alien and Terminator each had an action-oriented sequel which pushed the premise as far as it could go without dull repetition (Arnie's back - for the 3rd time!) or left-field camp (John Connor's an evil super-robot)
