This is a thread for the discussion of classic films (1900 -1940). This thread is for the citizens of /tv/ with only the most refined tastes. No memes, shitposting, no animated features, and no films after the year 1940. Those are the only guidelines. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a humble conversation about the golden era of filmmaking.

I catched the Golem prequel How He Came Into the World with the Frank Black soundtrack and it was decent. Not as good as a real film but still pretty entertaining, mostly because of the music not the imagery or story, but still pretty good.
J'accuse, from Abel Gance (1919), one of the best films ever made about WW1.

The silent era was too pure for this world.
I would extend your thread to the 1950s.
Aside from Dracula, what's a horror film from that time period that's heavy on atmosphere? You know, fog, cemeteries, that kind of stuff.
Recommend me best Stroheim for someone who's never seen him as director.

Go back to capeshit threads pls
So, we have a pretty good collection of films posted so far, but OP is not responding with any insight to any of the posts. In fact, the sole responses posted are:
>a correction
>an RLM image
>two responses to a bait post
There's no discussion ITT. OP, where are you? Why aren't you responding to the film suggestions anons have posted? Why aren't you trying your darnedest to generate discussion?
