Why is this movie so much praised? What is even special about it? It's just a movie about a fucking party that isn't even impressive at all. I and my m8s constantly have parties in this scale or even bigger EVERY WEEKEND. And the girls in this flick weren't even hot, they were all a 6/10 at best, at our parties, there are mostly 8s and 9s that are Calvin Klein models. I mean most of you betas have gone to a better party than pic related movie. right? So what is the hype in here?

yeah sure. what made the movie so appealing was how impossibly epic the party was. It inspired many people to do "project x" type parties after the film, a lot of them gaining news media coverage.
