A fairly wacky first act leads to the family going on a vacation to a foreign country. Once they arrive we see simpsonized versions of all the notable landmarks of this country. The family breaks up into 2-3 smaller groups, exploring aspects of the country that interest them. 1 of the 2-3 groups gets in trouble due to a lack of understanding/miscommunication between cultures. The second/third group is totally oblivious for a while, even though it is national news. Eventually the second/third group come to help them back out of the conundrum. As they are leaving someone remarks that they'll never leave springfield again.

Bart learns how to vape and Lisa lectures Marge on how wonderful vaping is compared to smoking. Homer accidentally drinks Bart's vaping liquid and realizes that the liquid amplifies his farting sounds and becomes a worldwide farting phenomenon.

Bart decides to buy Bone Storm X so he can become the world's best online player and win price money, but then Lisa plays it once and is super good at it, she then plays online with "the big boys" and kicks all their asses, Bart is furious and does something mean to get Lisa to quit, then out of nowhere "female celebrity" shows up and tells Lisa she can do it and to beat those biys at their own game. Lisa does it and wins, Bart is shown sulking and Nelson laughs at him.

Sidestory, Marge has a problem with fidget spinners.

A boy falls in love with a girl.

Unable to confess, he is gifted by a deus ex machina with the girl's phone number. Never minding the strange area code, he immediately calls her, and is overjoyed to find out that she has a crush on him as well.

But, the next day, when he recounts the previous day's confessions to the girl, she only looks at him with a perplexed expression. After some investigation, he finds out that the girl he called is not the same girl he fell in love with. In fact, she doesn't exist in this universe at all. She is the girl's alternate universe counterpart, who has fallen in love with the MC's own AU self, who too is blissfully unaware of her crush.

Hijinks ensue as the two strike up a deal to give each other their darkest, most private secrets in order to equip the other with the weapons they need to conquer the heart of their other selves. While the two chase their respective loved ones, DRAMA ensues as they begin to fall in love with each other instead and question the NATURE of LOVE.
