I recently replayed it and didn't really have that problem (I was on a high Int/Cha build and had every skill above 30 by the end, so I saw pretty much every dialogue option) with one exception. At the end of the rebuilt Enclave, there's one point where you literally cannot say anything intelligent to her to show that you learned the lesson. It's the last line of dialogue before she stuns you and leaves you to die.

KOTOR 2 is literally the most you can do with star wars, which literally a children's franchise to sell toys.

The Kotor comic book series was also pretty good, and touched on some similar dark themes as well, and why the the Jedi are doomed to fail, even though they live in a Manichean universe.

I wouldn't be surprised if they disney movies move to the Kotor themes as well, Luke saying "the jedi must end" is more of the grey jedi philosophy Kreia was saying. Lucas vision for the universe wasn't deep at all, all villains are essentially corrupted beings, who have no other motives other than the amassing of power. Antagonists like Kreia, the Mandalorians and Thrawn would never exist in a Lucas star wars movie.
