Inhumans were this race of people that the Fantastic Four encountered in issue #45, 1965. Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created them.

They're this offshoot of humanity that lived in this secret forbidden city. They gain powers when they're exposed to the, "Terrigen Mists," and can give them incredibly different appearances and powers.

In recent years, Marvel comics has been trying to push the FUCK out of them, because they're really fucking angry that the X-Men movies are licenced to Fox. Inhumans vs X-Men was a shitshow where the mutants were 100% in the right.

They do have a bunch of cool shit going for them. Their leader, their king, Black Bolt, is one of the most powerful people in the Marvel universe. With just a single word, his voice can destroy chunks of a city. Makes for some bad-ass comic moments. His love interest/gf/queen is Medusa, a chick that can make her hair grow really long, and can move it and shit. His brother is this Shakespearean villain, Maximus the Mad.

If you do a comparison between the Inhumans and New Genesis/New Gods of the DC universe that Jack Kirby created later, you'll see a shit ton of similarities.

Damn, Anson Mount is in it? Too bad, I was hoping he'd be cast as Geralt in the new Netflix Witcher series.
