Misfits is GOAT

All of the main characters added some hilarious stuff to the series. Nathan was funny yes, but he was only oneof them and Rudy is in my opinion funnier and more likeable.
Finn's scene in the freezer cements him as another hilarious character for me and Alex's original problem and nickname (given by Rudy) allways gets me laughing.

Also, what the other guy earlier said is true. The atmosphere and cinematography is kino.

I don't remember exact seasons but it starts out super strong. When Nathan leaves and is replaced with Rudy, it's still pretty good.... but after that ALL the cast is gradually swapped out and it gets terrible.

And the ending is absolute dogshit.

I think this show could have had maybe one season of Rudy replacing Nathan and people would still remember it fondly.

But it fell apart as bad as Prison Break or Lost. It never should have went on after all the original cast had left.

And episode 2 is a pretty big downer. The one about the old lady with the power to shape shift that Nathan was interested in (when she appeared to be young). And he rejected her when she came to him looking like her true self, so she committed suicide. That could have worked in a later episode when the show has established itself, but it lends an awful grim first impression.

And my favorite one was when that old man travels back in time to kill Hitler but Hitler gets the better of him and takes the old man's cell phone. The Nazis use it to reverse engineer far superior technology and win the war changing the modern timeline to a Nazi dominated England.

I think once Simon (Iwan Rhean) quit, the show was iredeemably bad, and last season should just be skipped altogether, even for diehard fans.

A few years back a bird invited me around for netflix and chill,

We binge watched the entire first season in a night, I then realized it was 3am and i had to goto work.

The whole season is wasted in another town with a bunch of inconsequential new characters, other than the main 3, Arseface and Odin Quincannon.

Jesse is a wet noodle, Tulip is an absolute bitch and full of girl power moments, Cassidy is just a messier, action-movie-guy Rudy, Arseface's origin is different and makes him into an asshole (repentant, though), Odin is just an "angry at God" atheist, no Meat Mother.

Everyone else sucks and doesn't matter.

It takes a whole season for the road trip to start. There's some good moments, a few funny jokes, and they do a genuinely clever thing with the Saint of Killers, but he also manages to do absolute nothing, ending the season at the very start of his plotline.

I watched a couple of episodes of season 3 a while back, but just kind of fell out of watching the rest of the series. I guess I was disappointed because I thought Nathan was starting to see some character growth through season 2, especially with his brother, but then they cut him out while he's still immature.

His abrasive humour and all that stemmed from deep self esteem issues. He projects an air of "nothing hurts me" but is really vulnerable and alone. So when he becomes immortal and can't be hurt, he's no longer vulnerable in any sense at all.
Now on the one hand you'd think that becoming invincible would make him an even worse person, but I think over time he would mellow out, with no need to cover up his insecurities he could have learned to open up and be vulnerable on his own terms.
