Fanning is a miscast if I ever seen one. She does have something unique but it's not this the mystical virginal beauty they make it out to be. I remember one the first of many exaggerated compliments was on her "perfect" nose. Couldn't take the movie serious after that.
I mean you can enjoy this move, it looks great for the most part and the music fits perfectly but I expect more of Refn than to just make an aesthetic, overlong music video. The story is something I would expect an edgy, confused teenager to come up with. And not hating on Refn, I love the fucking sperg, but he needs someone working with him to contain his autism.
