back when he said he was retiring from action movies, he mentioned wanting to play roles more his age.
So playing a distraught older father is right up his alley. there's less martial arts action than the traditional Chan flick, but it's still there, and the emphasis is more on the drama than the action.
Also he's not really a villain. the trailer implies that Brosnan's politician knows more than he lets on, and might somehow be responsible for the bombing or something.
Chan is a distressed father. hes not a villain, but as the marketing tag says a "good man" pushed "too far"
