You're just reducing the amount of options by not allowing limited theatrical release. Most of these movies were solely seen through blockbuster.

Now this here is good. The acting is obviously iffy at times but the setting and premise is top notch.

You know The Asylum, that mockbuster studio that makes shit to put on syfy channel and trick grandma into buying the wrong "summer blockbuster"

One of their few non-blockbuster films is actually one their best. It's by no means a good movie, but it keeps itself interesting.

In fact, The Signal (2014) basically stole its plot and twist.
