I quite like and enjoy all the movies, the next generation ones, the malcolm mcdowell one, the whale movie and the what does god need a spaceship for one
The first 'contact' movie is a bit slow but that's part of it's charm.

That scene is porn. The whole ending of the film with the slow approach into V'Ger is great, too. Some of the closest that ST ever came to trying hard sci-fi.
