Fun story about working with a sjw

>I was working for a group of students a few years back on a game they were making, not a huge payday but enough to get me to do something other then my real job.

>Wrote the story, nothing great, but it works for what we needed.

>Needed to kill a character off, made a male medic who served in a few wars. Core of character is he has a drive to save life, has on several tours done something that would get him killed but survived. Playing off "two days from retirement" trope. He steps in front of another character getting nailed right through he heart.

>Character is a lamb to slaughter but is needed for a key moment.

>So far we have a few more men in both team and characters then women.

>SJW joins the group due to her being gf to another programmer we couldn't get rid of, makes a stink about said "problem", so we change two characters to female.

>Medic gets changed to a woman, nothing else besides gender.

>She looses her shit that she only died because of her uterus, not paying attention to the story at all. I ask "What would you think if the character was originally male"

>Perks up "She is trans?" like it changes the whole event somehow. Call her out on not knowing nor caring about the character, only the genitals. Tell her its poor story telling, and its poor art to change a character to something so cliche just because its triggering her.

Project died shortly after and most the stuff got abandoned. Still got payed. But its clear they don't care about being good or bad or even making any real sense, at her core the medic was a driven character who wanted nothing more then to make the world a safe and happy place, willing to give her life to save people yet all that nut job saw was a vagina doing something that was sexist by her standards.
