5 has Glorious and her sycophant rat followers. Unfortunately Dawn survives the season.
6 has the 3 nerds and the dark themes grow stronger.

Weakest are 1 and 7. 4 has actually some of the best eps, it grows on you.

currently watching season 4 and i'd to say that season 2 has been my favorite one so far( that episode with Buffy's old school friend who has brain cancer and wants to become a vampire though) principally because Angel turning bad, just followed by season 3 (faith is cutes girl/villian), and i also had to say that i'm hating season 4, jezz fucking Giles been flanderized is fucking pesting me, but spike reapperence is one of the things saving it so far.

I feel like 5 is peak Buffy. And it probably would have been better if she'd stayed dead. Instead of being ripped out of heaven by the worst best friend ever who spent all her inheritance so buffy has to flip burgers to pay for rent.

But I still enjoy a lot of the post-death stuff and Once More With Feeling is my favorite episode by far.

All the pictures are gone, but the viewing order is still intact near the bottom. Easily the best way to watch the series. Season 1 of Angel is pretty great, and it helps to dilute how bad Season 4 of Buffy is overall.

Season 2 is the strongest overall season, followed by 3, 5, 1, 6, 4, and 7 in that order. Four and six both have some excellent stand-alone episodes.

Order for Angel is a bit murkier. 1, 2, and 5 are all fantastic. 3 and 4 get pretty rough.
