I liked it a lot. It had big problems sure but it was overall good.

It is a bad sequel to prometheus and a retarded prequel to alien.

Shit characters taking shitty decisions

It was pretty gud. I was almost hoping that the entire crew would die during the first attack sequence, which was actually really fantastic, and then the rest would be David and Walter.

This it made no sense in either universe

It feels like Ridley didn't really want to make more Alien movies when he started the Prometheus franchise, and that's totally cool. I can dig that. But expectation crushed Prometheus and caused him to go full alien mode with covenant.

The david story shows promise honestly, and I'd like to watch movies solely focused on him, free of the shackles of the alien franchise. He should have released Prometheus without any obvious marketing ties to Alien, and having it be the backstory of alien just a happy coincidence.

Can you name one traveling companion comfier than an eyebot? I think not.

It's the same movie over and over again. Prometheus and covenant follow almost the exact same structure as alien. What's the point? Scott said they'll be making a few more "prequels" as well. I guarantee the next "prequel" will be the exact same.
