I blame myself for not liking this movie becase I was 18 before I saw it and it had been built up as the greatest comedy ever made. It was fun and all but not as great as other classic comedies.

I like the mixture of the original, they had straight and whacky characters.
The new one has 4 comic reliefs, no lead and no idea where it's going.
Also, Hemsworth was the best thing about the new one, by a wide margin.

It's certainly the best performance of Harold Ramis's career. He wasn't much of an actor and casting him as a deadpan character like Egon was a smart move.
