Pretty much this. That group was initially pretty alpha male. Ever since Rick showed up it has progressively become more beta male to the point the female characters are all stronger than the males. It's no wonder Negan made them his bitch and they had to be saved by the Alpha black male group and his Tiger.

It's funny because they are obviously trying to write her as a strong independent female, but you can't help but hate that character. Here's to hoping the Aliens/rich off world elite kill her next season.

It's amazing how the female characters on this show have improved so much.

We used to have Lori and Andrea, and Carol was a nothing side character.

Now we have Michonne, Maggie, Rambo Carol, Rosita.

At the same time the masculinity level on TWD is at an all-time low. Negan is the only current alpha.
