Last Action Hero is probably one of the best ideas in 90s action.

Self referential, it basically takes Arnold and makes a fictionalized version of Arnold in which a kid projects his hopes just like the audience (and a lot of kids at the time). It then deconstructs this by showing the fantasy for what it is, separating the actor from the character, then blurring the line all over again and letting you have the cake and eat it too.

Not a perfect movie or anything, just a very interesting concept for one.

Everybody I knew when I was a kid fucking loved The Phantom Menace but when I got older I was told I was supposed to hate it.

Yeah its not a great film but I'll like it anyway
