possibly the greatest actor of his generation.

his performances are consistently the best parts of a lot of questionable/bad movies, but he is so good that it doesnt hurt him much because the difference in quality is so noticeable and hes already established enough.

there are at least a dozen (and probably closer to two) older performers who are still going and are greater than him, but he is basically always the best on the screen whenever hes on it, and i cant name someone around 40 or any younger who i could say is better than him with any confidence. he is already at worst a top 100 actor of all time.. there are a few slightly younger candidates who i could see possibly passing him but at this specific moment he has to be the leader, no?

seems like a pretty cool guy (although maybe kind of an asshole?) and is pretty well equipped too.
