explain this kino to me
i liked A Man Escaped and Au Hasard Balthazar but this seems like a simply bad movie. it tries to critique capitalism or at least greed but the damage done by the counterfeit bill is almost pure chance. why do people rate it so highly? why do they consider it profound? it is doctor seus level moralizing

Bresson was always a hack nigga
When Haneke rips you off and still makes a better kino, you know you goofed.

bresson's style is pure cinema and i wouldn't trust the opinion of anyone who likes haneke (or watches/posts star wars for that matter)

>calls me a pleb
>uses euphoric terms like "pure cinema"
If you're so patrish, name the shot in L'argent that Haneke copies. And name the Haneke film that the copied shot is in.
>oh wait you can't
Lmao
