Bigger budget = more shareholders = more intrusive executives that want to make sure the investors get their money's worth = to hell with artistic integrity, let's just make sure this movie makes a profit
top gear/grand tour
Joss Whedon? He's decent at television but awful at film.

baldies are going to get sterilized any day now so get ready

It's not that big of a deal relatively speaking. There are lots and lots of much worse things that could happen to a man's looks. You're almost certainly overestimating the negative reactions people have to it, and some girls like bald.

shave it lad. women will prefer that to balding strands of hair

I've liked everything he's done. Prestige is his best though, Memento is slightly overrated
Peter Jackson. Bad Taste and Meet the Feebles are a long way from the Hobbit trilogy.

Just finished The Prestige today and it's probably my favorite one of his, can't believe he actually made a genuinely good non-meme movie.

I feel the same way. Every time I'm about to dismiss Nolan as a hack, I remember that he made Memento and The Prestige.
M. Night Shyamalan. The bigger his budget, the shittier the movie.
I'm glad he understands that now and is making low budget indie shit that sucks less and actually makes him money.

Brain Dead/ Dead Alive
Plus, that goatse cover...mmmmm...
Nolan fascinates me. Fucker can pull the biggest buggets yet shoots a scene once and is done with it, doesn't matter how bad it is.
