Hmm. Hard to say, we share some opinions on Malick in common, my top 3 would be New World, Tree of Life, Thin Red Line, but then we disagree on Knight of Cups and To The Wonder. I think Cups is his weakest movie, still decent, but not great. I much prefer To the Wonder. All that being said, Song to Song is pretty good, a step above Knight of Cups, one below To the Wonder. It is his first movie since Tree of Life to actually allow an actor to give a genuine performance which is a truly great one and lends the movie substantial emotional weight.
