I get what you're saying but it's still all supernatural shit in the show, and I don't really mind that much except I can't remember any supernatural shit in the original movie, and it really seems like they try and hit all the (for lack of better word) tropes from the movie each season

also I think that fish falling from the sky thing happens in real life, like a storm swoops all the fish out of a river or something, think it might have even been in the show
Malvo's whole character and abilities seemed like the supernatural thing in that season, but I liked that a lot since the Coens are always doing the "unstoppable evil" character/force

Actually, thinking about it it's probably just Gloria's mother's bf, but the manner of his death (nose and mouth glued shut) is rather supernatural itself. Even if the guy on parole had went to his house by accident to look for a stamp, killing someone in that manner seems much more akin to a deranged serial killer or some evil entity than just some random druggie.
