For such a crazy book, it sure turned the dial to 11 for the movie.

OK film that could have been much better. Too much focus on face time for actors.

Had a great monster premise, but saved the reveal for too late, and then killed them in like 2 minutes. They were the most interesting aspect by far but never got a chance to shine.

Tim Curry was, as always, fantastic.

I always feel bad for Laura Linney, they probably told her it was guaranteed to be the next Jurassic Park

Same. I vividly remembered the scene where Bruce Campbell had the eye thrown at him but could never remember what movie it was from until I googled it a few years.

Rewatching it as a endless wave of familiar scenes I had forgotten about.
