idk about authorial intent here, but what this movie came very close to exposing was the self-hating white nu-male desire to escape his race and join what he considers the superior lineage of black people. The only aspect of the movie that rang false was that the clients were all old people. If the mansion had been full of 30-something pasty skinnyfat bearded guys in flannel shirts and thick-rimmed glasses, it would have been the piercing satire of the decade.
