They probably developed autonomous factories before humanity got that stupid and they probably simplified the process by having big boxes outside with labels for where to put the materials, and the robots inside took it from there. Or maybe they had lego style instructions where the machine displays what part it needs next and the people just hand them to the robots. Of course this technology would only last so long, break down, then humanity would be forced to live without more and more technology until eventually it would be degraded back to caveman days unless they rebounded and got smart again.
