It has its cheesy 70's moments. Overall very cool - you have to remember: this came out right after original star wars (on television). Only one season (because Fox sued them into oblivion) - had great potential.
Most felt it was superior to star wars, back in the day. The best episodes are great; the characters likewise. But there are some less great episodes, too.
