It's still just capeshit, but my second viewing made a huge difference in my appreciation of it.

It's almost perfectly crafted as far as storytelling/character arcs/themes/symbolism is concerned. The ultimate cut is even better, but the T-Cut is good too.

THe sybolism may seem over the top in screecaps, but it's more subtle in live action. Best example is tthe "cross" falling on the little girl in the Bruce oppening.

I would even add MoS to BvS since it's obvious plot points from BvS are introduced in MoS. Snyder and his writers had it all mapped out, it shows.

I do hope Whedon can finish JL without screwing it up too much. It feels like Snyder&Co were making a trilogy here, and I'm very curious about what they wrote as far as the script goes for JL.

If the reign Whedon in, he can actually be a great director. It's when he has too much budget or creative freedom that he goes overboard.
