No, I was implying that as time went on, acting got better. But even in the 70's and 80's that you were talking about, the acting was still over-the top had had little range. Modern acting is much better. They have more skill and talent.

It's what happens dude. As time goes by, quality increases, because standards get higher as does the competition. Athletes are better now than they were in the past, Actors are better now than they were in the past, we're smarter now, that we were in the past.
