This, Fight Club, Watchmen, Inception and Suicide Squad are the top 5 films of the generation I think. I would say they had the most impact on filmmaking and storytelling in the visual media.

I saw this movie for the first time not too long ago. I was shocked at how good it is. It's definitely on a higher level of quality than other films which are derided as teenager-core, such as American Psycho, Fight Club, or The Dark Knight.

Southland Tales is much better, even though (or possibly because) it is batshit insane and makes no sense at all.

I don't care what you say, American Psycho is genuinely one of the most rewatchable movies ever. Never a dull moment or a slow scene. It's incredible and I've seen it maybe more than 30 times and I hardly ever watch movies more than once.

Only the ultimate edition of Watchmen. It fixed everything that was wrong with the original by making it 2 hours longer.
