What age group was it where people had to stop watching the same shitty reruns of old TV shows? Growing up, unless it was prime time, there was a 100% chance one of the following shows would be on a prominent channel:
MASH
Brady Bunch
Gilligan's Island
Then there was the really old shit like I Love Lucy, Leave it to Beaver, I Dream of Jeanie, etc., and then sort of old shit like Knight Rider, Matlock, The A-Team, etc.
No one really liked those shows, but everyone was forced to watch them because there was nothing else on. Something like Seinfeld being on now is the equivalent of like Three's Company being on in the 90s, but people watch Seinfeld reruns voluntarily because it's a good show.
I'm assuming if you were born beyond like 1996, the only time you ever saw any old rerun is if you made a point of watching TV Land or whatever.
