It felt too short because the movie was mercilessly padded with flashbacks, extended redundant dialogue (often accompanied by flashbacks to the earlier flashback) and hallucinatory interludes. Some of the visuals were nice, but this is really an awful, awful movie.

Would it be possible to do a fan edit and try to get rid of all the jokes the sidekick does?

Would it be possible to fully cut out the bathroom scene even though he goes into the alley.. if there is someway to have a shot of the sidekick behind the bar looking scary at Cruise which makes Cruise walk up and leave and then entering the alley?

Movie would be a lot better

Also get rid of the sidekick leading Cruise down the sewers and instead Cruise ends up finding the Mummy himself and becoming trapped.

I wish there was someway to make the Blonde chick more likeable and thus care for her more... maybe if they released an extended cut with maybe some more scenes of Cruise and her talking but doubt they have plans to do that.

If they do release an extended cut I definitely will purchase it cos I really liked the potential this movie had. But yeah: potential. So much could be improved if things were changed and it felt more like "one" person made it instead of 6 writers which apparently is how many tried to make this work.
