Goddamit, why is it always the biggest douchebags who try and adapt Watchmen?
I mean Snyder did okay for me, but he's like the second douchiest blockbuster director in Hollywood after Michael Bay. And Lindelof is #1 of the tv-world in that regard.
Why can't they give it to someone less obnoxious and more artistic for once?

I mean it's good but there's nothing artistic about the leftovers, it's just a calculated quality product with surface-level metaphors and clear working mechanism behind it.
It's like Shawshank Redemption of tv.
