Can anybody explain to me what she did for a hundred years after the movie ends? Was she seriously looking for that picture this whole fucking time? The way the movie ends almost makes it seem like she never hid from humanity in the first place. Did the writers just forget that was even set up in BvS? I almost feel like the movie was originally going to end on a darker note with Diana agreeing with ares (who did nothing wrong btw) and that being the reasoning behind her hundred year absence. Except the executives couldn't have anything dark in their marvel clone so they changed it to Diana defeating ares with love power instead.

Meh movie. Writers couldn't quite balance and blend WW's naivety and her hardcore Amazon Warrior. SJW checkboxes ticked off with Native American Indian, and another India Indian. I'm not sure what the latter guy's military expertise was besides acting like the stereotypical bumbling servant to get into the party.

They introduced the sniper with some form of PTSD, show him freezing during the sniper scene, and doesn't show him bouncing back with some encouragement from Diana or something. So the guy's arc led to nothing, why even do it in the first place?

They threw some misogyny in there that could have been dealt with better such as when the journal needed to be translated. The men brushed aside WW's ability to translate because she's a woman, and seem to forget the fact that a woman wrote the journal and is creating gas to kill their soldiers. At least Trevor could have pointed this out or something to maybe make his superiors rethink their attitude.

Trench scene was the jewel of the film. Rest is kinda meh.
