It's also the best at capturing the pulp Indie is based on. Modern historical revisionist and SJWs are just hating on it because they think they're supposed to.

I disagree. It only appears one because it leads into the third which is exactly the Blockbuster you describe it as. Had they gone down the initial path set for the "Revenge of the Jedi" instead of being hijacked by Lucas and his shift into pandering and commercialism, they could have made for a two parter David Lean type epic.
