I enjoy torturing myself with cringe videos here and there, but this years e3 was so full of it I feel like i've had enough for the entire year.

Also, the Shadow of the Colossus remake is the only thing that got me hyped. Everything else was forgettable.

He made some blog about how apparenly they told him he had like 10 more minutes before they would roll, and they changed the teleprompter on him from the script he had memorized. He still did a shit job but he alleges EA's production staff were part of the fuck up too. At least I think it was EA I forget who's broadcast that was.

E3 this year was a mess for those trying to do business. It use to be that you could just tap somebody's shoulder, start a conversation, and possibly lead to a business opportunity. This year with all the retarded fans, not only was doing this entirely implausible, but setting up meetings was very difficult. Many of the "good stuff" was hidden this year, only accessible by appointment made way in advance, Not only that, but many companies hid inside rooms outside the halls. It might have been just me, but I also felt that many of the companies did not spend the budget to really put on a "display" as they didn't see the justification.

I admit that the E3 conference had been lacking in energy a few years, and adding the fans definitely brought it back, but at the cost of negating the initial purpose of the conference. I think a compromise would be to have a few days private just for industry professionals, and the remaining days open to the public.

I can't believe what E3 has turned into. It was created as a way for companies to impress investors, allow journalists to get sneakpeeks at games/consoles, and at times allow the general public to try out whatever's new.

Now it's just Comic-Con for video games.
