Skyfall was Sam Mendes reinventing James Bond, and it was fucking glorious. Too bad Spectre couldnt follow up, but hey, he earned his third try

Why would you watch every other Craig movie besides QoS?

People hate on it because it is poorly (very poorly) edited at certain points, and because "muh villain", people call the villains plot lame and uninteresting, despite the fact that it is one of the most realistic plots of any Bond villain ever.

There is a lot to like about the movie, it's not nearly as bad as people make it out to be.

Skyfall script was lmao tier but everything else was GOAT

Skyfall had a lot of great ideas but bogged down with unforgivable garbage. Having your villain be le epic magical hacker man immediately disqualifies your film from being good, especially when said villain uses his magical hacking powers as a basis for major plot points like him doing the whole "planned to get caught" shtick with his magical hacking abilities being used to unlock all the doors of the MI6 facility.

Not only that M's death was anti-climatic and underwhelming as fuck, the exact opposite thing her character should receive. Shame because Javier Bardem was a great villain with a really cool backstory, but he's wasted on such a shitty film.

The greatest thing about Skyfall is that the villain wins. It's a Bond film where the villain succeeds at his goal.

It is also crazy how many people who watch the film don't even realize this.

Bond is a flick that should be theatrical and exciting, not boring, especially when you kill off a big character like M.

Skyfall was so disappointing, plot and script wise.

Spectre was mysteriously worse.

QoS was incomplete but I don't remember hating it as much as I hated myself for watching and falling for Skyfall and Spectre.

Casio Royale is seriously the GOAT.
