Now that the dust has settled, can we agree this is kino?
>low-key intro that eases us into the "secret world" of mutants
>nice score
>quips are very naturally written
>shows that both extremes have valid points
>shows that both extremes are ultimately just governed by fear
>classy as fuck Magneto
>Mystique jiggling all over the place
>page 9
Wow, I guess /tv/ only likes capeshit when it has dumb memes and promotes company wars.
Shaking my damn head to be honest family.

Welcome to /tv/. Where have you been?

do you know what happens to a toad when its struck by lightning?
>X-Men was good
>X2 was great
>X-Men: Days of Future Past was good
>X-Men: Apocalypse was a mess
What went so wrong with Bryan Singer? The boy fucker had a flawless X-Men track record until Apocalypse.

Apocalypse is a bad character for a good/complex film.
He's a one-dimensional mean bad guy with limitless powers. It's basically asking for a MCU-style plot.
It's actually the only X-men movie that follows the "obvious bad guy" routine. Other films have always been Professor X and Magneto fucking around.

DoFP is the GOAT comic book film

It would be in extreme pain?
I didn't particularly like it, but I appreciate that it paved the way for quality super hero movies.

so x-men 3 never happened?
Only x-men I havnt seen yet, but out of random reason, should I?
>>84079209
yes you should.
if one is to understand the great mystery, one must study all its aspects, not just the dogmatic, narrow view of /tv/. If you are to become a complete and wise leader you must embrace a larger view of the x-men universe.

My favourite of the capeshits by a long way.
I pretty much hate the MCU through and through, this new DCU is kinda okayish, but Fox have done a pretty good job with most of these movies (the third one and the standalone Wolverine not included).
