Without Skyler being a bitch wife, Walt would not feel the need to cook meth on the side. When he feels impotent and powerless it feels all the more powerful for him to take charge and win at something, even if it is something illicit and dangerous. You are a pleb for not realizing this

Yes, because Walt is the man. We were given no compelling reason to care about his useless family. Skyler was a cunt to him even before the meth started, condescending bitch. Breakfast-kun just sort of existed, serving no real purpose until that scene in Ozymandias - who cares. And Holly was a plot device infant, who cares.
