We see buildings getting knocked down left and right in the movie, but nobody actually dies on screen, and apparently only 74 people died in total....how do audiences accept that? Like we have a real-world example of 3000 people dying when just two buildings in NYC are knocked over, but we see the same thing happen to dozens of buildings in the movie and not even 100 people die?

Because Marvel movies are poorly written and shat out onto the cinema screen. No biggie.
