Depends on how you define "art.". Did you laugh? Cringe? Wince? Puke? Or did you feel absolutely nothing as you watched it? Art's in the eye of the beholder. If a film arouses feelings in you, whatever those feelings might be, then you walk away from it just a little different than you were before you saw it. That's the goal of every filmmaker, to get you to feel--to make it so you can't get the experience out of your head for awhile. Ever see a movie and then forget you saw it? It made no impression on you whatsoever? I don't know how you feel, but to me, that's the true definition of artlessness--when the work has forged no bond between you and it. When you don't even feel any hostility towards it. When it's just blah.
