There are a lot of threads on /tv/ about which is the best late night talk show, but is there anyone here who agrees that Last Call is by far the best talk show?
>no monologue
>no dumb skits
>no audience to keep hyped with 'cute' banter
>interviews guests in a real bar
>puts camera just on guest and lets them talk casually, not interrupting every sentence with bullshit comments
For those not old enough to remember Johnny Carson and Merv Griffon, this is what talk shows used to be like until David Letterman and Jay Leno turned talk shows into a chucklefest

I actually liked it better back when Last Call had a studio audience, monologue and skits
