The same honestly goes for Adventure Time. The show may be Reddit incarnate, but I'll be damned if it isn't the spiritual successor to god-tier 40s-50s children's books like The Little Prince, The Iron Giant, or anything by E.B. White. We'll be talking about it decades from now, and I collected the DVDs to pass on to my kids with the Tintin and Asterix book collections that my dad collected and gave to me.

Did anyone else watch a show called Bad Dog, where a spotted mutt named Berkeley fucking destroyed the dreams of all the humans around him every episode, went into catatonia if anyone called him bad dog, and then was miraculously cured by the person's life just happening to turn out better than before by dumb luck and saying "Good Dog!"

Disney channel was fucking garbage. CN and Nick were the two good ones. Even when I was young, I thought Disney channel was for retards and babies.
Their live action shit was unfunny and their cartoons were horrible bar a few that really only came on in the early morning.
Used to hate how you'd be sick home from school and have to watch fucking scrappy doo for hours until something good came on

Cartoon Network had DBZ, Dexter's Lab, and Looney Tunes, so it's pretty hard to beat.

Nickelodeon had game shows, sketch comedy, slime, SNICK, and NickToons like Rocko's Modern Life, Rugrats (which was super popular in its day).

I watched both as a kid, but I would say Nick had more shitty filler content, so I tended to watch Cartoon Network more, especially at night when Nick@Nite would play old 60's sitcoms.
